Feng Shui How to De-Clutter and Downsize

One of highlights of my summer 'vacation' ended up being downsize!!! Many of my real estate clients are downsizing that will help, for example: 1) hang up the phone the lawnmower and save more time on yard fixing, 2) move into a smaller home, town home, or condo to somewhat of a master bedroom on the key level - for stair-free living through, or 3) move to a assisted care facility - becoming a easier, less-stressed lifestyle.

For many other reasons, I decided to work from my approx. 1650 sq. ft. home into the few of 1-BDR apartment! Wow - clearly, this would be your "extreme makeover" - of these an "extreme exercise" available as downsizing and de-cluttering! In the least, moving into a new space would be a perfect opportunity will employ Feng Shui making use of de-cluttering.

Here are 7 questions Specialists myself - to companion of de-clutter and downsize thinking my new, much brief digs! And to acknowledge why it's happening of these 'Seven "Clear the Way" Questions, ' they are yet to listed on p. 21 along with this book written by Terah Kathryn Collins, The Western Secrets for Feng Shui - Storage by Room. For the things that I was apt to move (or get fresh of), I asked:

1 - Am i going to love it?

2 - Am i going to need it?

3 - Post on reflect who I are and who I'm as being?

4 - Does it try to be an energy-boosting affirmation me personally?

5 - What positive and/or mental poison, memories, or emotions am i going to associate with it?

6 - Does it need to be fixed or recovered, and am I willing for it now?

7 - If you should let it go, should i sell, lend, or this away, and when?

The straightforward was that I have to be moved in by August 1st - we had a specific deadline I had to meet. This was one good thing, of course - because now We had to face all of that stuff - the closets, drawers, attic, in which case, garage.... boxes of labeled, items of clothing I have not worn in few years, multiple sets of recipes, old pieces of furniture it's my job to will paint "someday, centimeter etc.

My good mate and professional organizer, Katrina Solomon, a favorite definition of clutter it's my job to have adopted: clutter generally postponed decisions and delayed action. And all of the clutter which i had accumulated soon enough had become invisible - up to now!

One of the reasons I embraced the challenge of moving to a much smaller space was because - like a lot of us today - I had begun to feel very overwhelmed plus the stressed with trying to keep up with a variety of healthiness and fitness and professional obligations and even commitments. And I knew intuitively as you are I began the process of simplifying and organizing where the net effect was a feeling of being more on top, less stressed, more inspired - and it had more time and energy for new projects and creative work. Well, it has all worked out beautifully! I have new energy, excitement - and suffer re-energized and rejuvenated.
